EIC Community

Code of conduct.

EIC is a trusted, curated community built on openness, respect and strong relationships. By joining, we ask every member to help protect that environment.

  1. Keep conversations in the room

We follow the Chatham House Rule. Take the ideas and insights with you, but please don't identify who shared them or attribute comments to their firm without permission.

  2. Protect each other's confidentiality

Members should feel comfortable speaking candidly within EIC. Please keep confidential information, private conversations, screenshots and sensitive discussions within the community.

  3. Keep events within the community

EIC event invitations are intended for approved members. Know someone who would be a great addition? We'd love for you to send them the EIC application.

  4. Make sure everyone is registered

To help us create thoughtful, well-run events, everyone attending must be registered and approved in advance.

  5. Treat people well

We want EIC to be a welcoming, professional and inclusive place. Treat fellow members with respect and help create an environment where people feel comfortable contributing and connecting.

Harassment, discrimination or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

  6. Be thoughtful about outreach

EIC is a relationship-driven community, not a distribution list. Please don't use EIC channels, the member directory or member information for mass sales outreach, unsolicited marketing or spam.

Thoughtful one-to-one introductions and genuine relationship-building are always encouraged.

EIC reserves the right to remove members whose behaviour compromises the trust or integrity of the community.
